The myth of Calabash pipes

If you ask to any smoker which pipe shape he has always wanted, many of them will answer the calabash pipe. The shape is historical (we already remember it in some paintings of Wien of 1700). Think also of Scherlock Holmes' scripts, who has never identified themselves .. The charm of this pumpkin pipe with removable sea foam stove is timeless. In 2020 Ariberto Paronlli of Paronelli Pipe decided to redesign the model by creating an ad hoc series called CALABASH. These pipes have the particularity of having a removable stove (available in different essences) with an underlying condensation chamber. This system allows you to recreate a type of smoke identical to the famous pumpkin calabash, that is, the expansion tank (or condensation chamber) makes the smoke "decant" inside and always reaches the mouth fresh and dry. The briar and the olive, both strictly from Sardinia, with a minimum guaranteed aging of 8 years, have made it possible to obtain a pipe capable of guaranteeing smoke with a unique and inimitable taste.
